Well the date is finally here! You might have remembered a little while ago I showed off the beads my partner Kathy of Bay Moon Design sent me? As a reminder here are some of them… (I have used some bits already before taking this photo).
The idea was to use one focal bead and the clasp in your own way. The rest of the beads are for inspiration.
Now I definitely knew I wanted to use the seaglass and silk ribbon… but how?
This one was such fun to do as I’ve not done any wire wrapping in ages! I’ve teamed it with a focal clasp from my own stash.
I am obsessed with delicate pretty bracelets and couldn’t wait to turn the focal and clasp into one! Using beads from what Kathy sent me teamed with silver plated wire and chain from my stash.
Some co-ordinating earrings using more of the amazing beads I’ve been sent.
This one is definitely my favourite! Since I saw these seaglasses I had the design of alternating them in my head and I’ve think it turned out rather well!
Ta-da… I’ve not used all of what I’ve been sent but it’s there for a rainy day and I have enough of the silk ribbon left to make a bracelet- just waiting for the right beads to call to me!
Hopefully Kathy likes what I have created. Thank you Lori Anderson for hosting this 🙂
