You might have seen recently the little snippets I was doing towards a playmat quilt for my nephew who turned two last tuesday.
Well I finished it! Lots of new things in it for me and even though not perfect and fabric choices debatable I love it and he did too! His little face when he opened it up then promptly threw himself on it.
*Warning* picture heavy…
I’m quite chuffed with the reverse too! Makes it reversible and educational. I even had time to whip up a Postman Pat cushion/pillow his favourite thing ever! Overall a success š
I’ve got some exciting news to share soon so if you new to sewing patchwork/quilting or want to try but don’t know where to start..? Check back soon!
Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend- I’m off to pack for a house move!

/ August 25, 2013Wow that looks brilliant, what a great job. Makes me feel guilty I don’t make more things for my son. He only gets quick and simple makes.

/ August 26, 2013Oh wow Hannah, that is brilliant! It must have taken ages. So sweet and perfect for a two year old to roll around on. Love the cushion too, who’d have thought kids would still like Postman Pat!!
