Well where did 2013 go? I like to think that I have moved forward in my sewing journey but between work and finishing off my degree not as far as I would like so here’s to 2014! I’ve met some lovely people last year to whom I am grateful.
The madness in the few days leading up to Christmas has shown me that I can be productive when I put my mind to it so with that in mind my sewing aims for the year are:
- actually learn dressmaking properly (instead of waiting until those pounds disappear)- i have some lovely skirt and tops patterns to try
- actually finish things instead of adding it to the UFO column
- following on from that finish some UFOs!
- start a lot of new projects and expand my skills
- design, design, design
On the Popular Patchwork forum I have included my UFO finishing aims here and my new projects here.
And to start the year off I will finish this 1930s repro mini quilt.
Am linking up to A Lovely Year of Finishes to help encourage this. What are your plans for 2014?
